Short Story
My name is Tiago and I am raising funds for Youth in Transformation by running their annual “Run for Transformation” event on the 15th of June. To match YIT’s enthusiasm for enabling the younger generation to become an effective and transformative part of society, I will be adding a twist to the fundraiser. For each level of funds raised I will be incorporating a special addition to the clothing for my run: R1 500 – The pants from my suit. R3 000 – The pants from my suit with my white collared shirt. R5 000 – Full suit. R10 000 – I will channel my inner Faf de Klerk and run with a speedo. All the funds raised will be going towards education and maturing programs with children in and around Cape Town ,run by Youth in Transformation. Story
Youth In Transformation (YIT) is a non-profit organization started in 2016. Youth In Transformation envisions a world where every young person in Africa regardless of race, gender or socio-economic status has access to fair, equitable and quality education that transforms their lives and enables them to live a life of purposeful work, joy, compassion, generosity and justice in their families and communities. To achieve this vision, they develop projects and programs that equip young people with the resources they need to succeed in their education so that they can finish their High School and Tertiary education with excellence, enabling them to pursue work that aligns with their God-given purpose, passions and talents bringing transformation to Africa and beyond.
